Nifty Aug F: 16359 [ 16369 / 16287 ]
NF made an OAIR for the 6th consecutive session but it remained above the yPOC of 16287 & got accepted in previous day’s selling tail of 16292 to 16325 forming the lowest IB (Initial Balance) range of this series of just 40 points but more importantly left a small tail at lows from 16298 to 16287 indicating that it wanted to move away from the 6-day composite. The auction then made a slow probe higher all day as it completed the 2 IB objective of 16367 right in the last TPO of the day closing around the highs & forming completely higher Value with a prominent POC at 16338 which will be the reference on the downside along with 16298 for the next session.

BankNifty Aug F: 36064 [ 36128 / 35793 ]
BNF opened above the yPOC of 35930 and probed higher but got rejected right below the selling extension handle of 36054 as it made a high of 36049 and reversed the probe to the downside not only breaking below 35930 but also took out the HVN of 35860 as it made a low of 35793 in the ‘A’ period and almost replicated the same range from 35802 to 36021 to the upside in the ‘B’ period suggesting that both the buyers & sellers were on equal terms in the IB (Initial Balance). The auction then remained in this narrow 256 point range all day forming a Gaussian profile before giving a very late spike higher from 36049 to 36128 in the ‘M’ period. Spike Rules will be in play at open tomorrow as the buyers will need to get above the selling singles of 36149 to 36275 for this upmove to continue where on the downside, today’s PBL of 35897 will be the level to hold if the spike gets rejected.
