We had a Neutral Extreme close yesterday on the Nifty. The auction of today accepted above the Neutral extreme highs very early in the session and there was no case of the sellers getting on the offensive once Buyers assumed control over VAH. This is simple Market Profile and is basic to understand control of the tape. Buyers rule the areas above the VAH.
Zooming out, we can see that in the last 5 sessions of the chart which has been posted below, the Initiative Buyers have managed to hold the control right from the open in 4 off the 5 sessions. The Sellers have not been able to extend prices below the IB in 4 of the 5 sessions. What does that tell you about the control in the Intraday Time Frame?
These are basic parameters we look at whilst reading the information from the market.

Intraday and swing trading view for Nifty Futures below the chart. ( This chart is Live in the Vtrender Trading Room)
- The NF Open was an Open drive higher
- The day type was a Normal variation day
- Largest volume was traded at 10589 F Friday
- Vwap of the session was at 10569 with volumes of 91.6 L in a session which traded a High-Low range of 10599-10516 for 82 points
- We got an FA at 10212 which was visited on day T+3 . However, the auction did not settle below 10212.
- The other FA at 10424 stands negated.
