FIIs have added 8K short Index Futures, net 18K short Index CE, net 10K long Index PE and 16K short Stocks Futures contracts this week while liquidating 23K long Index Futures and 2K long Stocks Futures contracts. They have been net sellers in equity segment for ₹5951 crore during the week.
Clients have added 11K long Index Futures, net 45K long Index CE, 35K short Index PE and 55K long Stocks Futures contracts this week besides covering 3K short Index Futures and 29K short Stocks Futures contracts.
Nifty MAY has shed 4576 contracts this week but 6156 contracts added to Open Interest of JUN/JUL series. Banknifty MAY has shed 4759 contracts with just 1752 contracts addition in JUN/JUL series.
