FIIs have added net 22K short Index Futures, 24K short Index CE, net 12K long Index PE and 52K short Stocks Futures contracts this week besides liquidating 11K long Index CE and 4K long Stocks Futures contracts. They were net buyers in equity segment for ₹1791 crore during the week.
Clients have added 18K short Index PE and 33K long Stocks Futures contracts this week, reduced exposure in Index Futures and Index CE, and covered 23K short Stocks Futures contracts.
Nifty JAN shed 16102 contracts in Open Interest this week while 12759 contracts were rolled over to FEB/MAR series. Banknifty JAN added 5057 contracts in Open Interest, FEB/MAR series added 8265 contracts during the week.
